Dr. Jon Placide was born in Manhattan, New York and grew up in Freeport. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Zoology and received his Bachelor of Science at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Oklahoma at Tulsa. He began his career in private practice at Trinity Women's Health Center in Raleigh, NC in 2005 and joined our practice in January 2007.
Dr. Placide is board certified as an Ob/Gyn specialist and is a fellow of the American College of Ob/Gyn. He is married to Dr. Racquel Daley-Placide and they have a daughter. He enjoys jogging, cycling, snorkeling and stamp collecting.
