Karen F. Hilbert is a nationally certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a native of Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Bloomsburg, PA in 1981. She has practiced in the women's health care field ever since. She began her career as a Labor & Delivery Nurse in tertiary care hospitals in Virginia and continues to work occasionally as a Labor & Delivery nurse at UNC to participate in the miracle of birth. She graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with her Masters Degree in Nursing in 1988 and began her private practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Karen and her husband have been married for 23 years. They relocated with their 2 children, who also happen to be twins, to Apex, North Carolina in 2002. Karen is an avid photographer and can always be found behind a camera lense at any activity or event her children are involved in. Karen also shares her home with her two corgi's, Amber and Zoey.
